Albert Handell, Thank You!

Albert and partner Jeanine Christman, helped me celebrate my new studio!

Heartfelt appreciation for Albert’s suggestion for a builder for my new studio.   It has been a long journey of design and building but it’s finally a reality and I’m so thankful.  If it weren’t for Albert’s builder contact (Rafael Sigala of Santa Fe, NM), I would never had such a great studio built!

“Flowers in Tin Pot” Painting

This is my first still life painting completed in my new studio!  The flowers arrived for my birthday.  They were so beautiful I just had to capture them on canvas.  18 x 24 in., oil on canvas. Available for purchase.

Kathy’s New Studio

Finally, after many, many moons…the new studio is fully functional.  Now, on to PAINTING!  I am so grateful for the many experts, friends and acquaintances met along the way who helped us create our vision.  Thank you, you know who you are.  ~Kathy and Tom

New Studio is Under Construction!

It’s been in the planning phase for a few years and now it’s becoming a reality.  I have been painting in the master bedroom which works out pretty well but it’s overflowing with studio stuff – can’t wait to get our bedroom back!

The excavation complete, stem walls and foundation slab done…I will be posting more photos on the progress over the next month.  The building is 28′ square, constructed of Rastra (recycled materials and concrete) with 10′ ceilings, a bathroom and kitchen area (with utility sink, without appliances).

“Spring Irises” Painting

Spring irises are so full of vibrant color!  I paired them with my grandmothers little jug because it’s so fun to paint objects with some personal memories attached.

This is an 11 x 14″ oil on panel picture and is available for purchase.  Please email me for more information.
